Cameron walked onto the Dock of Shame. “Last time, on Total Deviant Art Island! Our campers bungee-jumped off the Wawanakwa cliff. Many jumped successfully, some bungee cords snapped, and DJ and Lauren both chickened out. In the end, it was the quiet Lauren who was sent home. What challenge did she just miss out on? The campers were all in the mess hall. Chef Gerry was mysteriously missing, but the meals had all been set out at the campers’ seats.

“Where are Chef and Cameron?” Silver finally blurted.

A TV set rolled into the hall on a cart. Cameron’s face appeared on it.

“Hello, campers, today’s challenge is called Total Drama Espionage! As suggested by your very own Myles, it will be a spy challenge. The objective is to retrieve a designated object from a designated cabin. Specifics are in your cabins. Report there now! This TV will now self-destruct in 30 seconds,” the Cameron-on-tape said.

Everyone began to panic.

“What do we do?” Sydney cried.

“We’ve got to get out of here!” Liana said.

Instead of racing out the door, Michael quickly stood up, and rolled the cart out of the hall. He ran back in and slammed the door. Everyone waited, until the explosion was heard.

“She said get to the cabins…” Andrew said. After a slight pause, all of the campers stood up and raced toward their cabins. Above each of the boys’ cabins, a note on the door said ‘report to the girls’ cabin’.

Each team piled into their respective girls’ cabins. Helena read the note inside the Killer Bunnies’ cabin.

“Killer Bunnies. Successfully retrieve Matthew’s teddy bear from the Vengeful Squirrels cabin as quickly as possible,” she read.

“Haha! The tough goth has a teddy bear?!” Torrent laughed. “Wait, you don’t have one do you, Nick?”

“Bite me,” Nick hissed.

Lulu read the note inside the Rabid Wolverines’ cabin.

“Rabid Wolverines. Successfully retrieve Jenna’s diary from the Killer Bunnies’ cabin as quickly as possible,” she read.

“She has a diary?” Juliette said.

Joey read the note in the Vengeful Squirrels’ cabin.

“Vengeful Squirrels. Successfully retrieve Michael’s book from the Rabid Wolverines as quickly as possible,” he read.

“Now we have to figure out who we should send out on offense and defense,” Savvy said.

“Who should be on offense and defense?” DJ asked his team.

It was decided that Jenna, Lena, Liam, Dina, and Torrent would stay on defense, and DJ, Kairi, Nick, Helena, Andrew, and Emily would go out on offense.

“Who should stay on guard and who should go get the diary?” Cali asked.

“Guys on offense, girls on defense,” Steven said.

“Actually…how about Kevin stays here on defense, aaaaaaaand…Lulu goes out on offense,” Curly said. Shanii pulled her aside.

“Are you trying to hook us up?” Shanii asked quietly.

“Yep!” Curly said back.

“…oh, thanks,” Shanii replied, and they returned to the group.

Shadow offered a suggestion to his team. “I say we rush the Wolverines all at once. All eleven of us!”

“I like that idea,” Silver said.

“Let’s do it!” Joey said. “Go Vengeful Squirrels!”
